A couple of questions for a W208...(oil in coolant and vibrating problems)
I am curious to know if that problems really existed for a W208 CLK:
1) Has W208 a problem with oil inside the coolant reservior? I still can't find a problem with it, except for W211 and some older models.
2) Has a W208 vibrates/shakes when you drive low speed (lower than 35mph), but it becomes smooth after 35mph?
I am asking a couple of these questions, because I observed the problems with oil in the coolant in a 2001 Volvo S40 and the strange vibrating issue in the 1986 BMW 328es. These problems are pretty common, but very expensive to repair. So, I was wondering if a CLK doesn't have that problem...

462 people have viewed this thread and no reply. I would have to guess these two problems aren't occurred in any CLK's. I am also showing that thread to my friend, who assumes a CLK has these problems too.

Are you asking if the CLKs have an oil in the coolant problems? Not that I’m aware of. I f you don’t take care of a vehicle you will have problems. In your other vehicles did they over heat? That would cause the head to warp and thus a leaky head gasket that would allow the oil and coolant to mix. Most cars don't have this problem unless they are not taken care of. The vibration that you write about may be a bad motor mount. The clks can have that issues but it is easy to fix and there are DIYs on this site for that. Hope this helps
