E-Class wheels on CLK W208 question

I have a spare set of rims from my E500 sitting in my garage. I tried putting them on the CLK but they didnt fit "flush" before putting the bolts on they would wobble a little. Im guessing this means i need spacers. If so what kind of spacers do i need? If not then what do i need?

Thanks, Mike

99CLK320,
from what you describe, it sounds like the center bore on the E500 rims is smaller than the clk preventing the rim from fitting flush. MB rims are hubcentric and I don't think spacers are going to help you unless you can find ones that will adapt the two bores.

02 CLK 430 Coupe
On top of that the E-class uses 14mm bolts while the CLK uses 12mm. I wouldn't pursue this project.
