Just sold her...
Sold my 2000 CLK430 with 132,000 kms yesterday for $10,800. Sad to see her go. Been online searching for other cars within the same price range for my next car but haven't found anything I liked, looks and performance wise similar to the CLK.

2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupé
I gotta ask - why sell it if you're looking for the same pleasure?
Anyway it's nice to see that a V8 208 CLK in good condition can still pull five figures.

The number one reason i sold the car was because i was not happy with the steering on my car. I tried to fix the problem by replacing the center drag link tie rod assembly, new steering damper, alignment, and my last fix was i did a a steering gearbox swap after my gearbox was diagnosed as worn. I noticed improvements after the gearbox swap like the steering felt much tighter and would wander less but at the end of the day I was still not happy with the steering and i didn't really want to put more money into trying to fix the issue so i just let her go.
I'm from Canada so these cars can still resale for a bit more. I was actually hoping to get around 11,300 for my car.
I am thinking about getting a BMW now (i know blasphemy!). I test drove a 2003 bmw 540i with m-sport package and the handling far exceeded my clk. It's also a v8 and a bit more horsepower than the 430 and the price is similar +/- depending on the condition and mileage.

Hey guys, although i sold my car i still lurk on this forum daily just to see what everyones up to and how your rides are doing. This forum was extremely informative whenever i had issues with my car so i thank everyone who has helped me in the past.
I finally purchased a replacement vehicle a couple days ago and ended up getting a 04 g35 coupe with 67k kms (42k miles).

It has similar power to the 430 and it drives and handles real well and i'm also liking the exhaust note.
It doesn't feel as solidly built as the benz though and even though the g35 is 4 years newer than the clk, the electronics in it is a bit less luxurious. All in all i'm happy with the new car and thought i would drop by and share it with you guys.
