New interior add-on

I really don't like the space between the rear seats, so I built a little cover with burl veneer. It came out OK.

No offense but in the pictures it doesn't look so good. Someone makes a cover/sliding compartment for that space... you should check out Performance Products' catalog.

I mounted a fire extinguisher back there cause I too thought it looked like wasted space. It might be too racey for some people's taste, but I like the way it looks. :0)

It fits perfectly and doesn't interfere with the armrest. By the way, it's not crooked at all but for some reason (most likely the picture angle) it looks that way. Looks good in person, though.

Lightbulb Great Idea for the Manual!

Ahmed- Great Idea on where to place that Manual! I have struggling with where to stick that 'dictionary' and it was sitting in the cargo net on the passenger's side....until now!

i use that spot to put water bottles & small items... never leave bottles on the front seats else it will roll down and get stuck under the seat, and will get caught when moving the seats forward.

In terms of placement for the manual. I've got a good spot. since you don't use it much, place it BEHIND the armrest (where it is hidden when the rear armrest is in the UP position). it fits PERFECTLY, and is quite easy to access during the infrequent moments you may need the manual.

i would never put it in the net at the passenger foot well... it stretches out the net and it never looks the same again...

Ahmed, I notice that your armrest does not have a 'strap' on it. In the other pics you can see where everyone eles has a 'strap' about 3 inches from the top when the armrest is up. Any ideas why?

I always leave it behind the rear seat armrest too... it fits perfectly, stays outta sight, and easily accessible when needed.

What's wrong with the glove compartment? I keep my owners manual case there along with my cell phone cord charger.

Nothing is wrong with putting it in the glove compartment... except... once you put the whole leather pouch in there, you can't fit anything else in there.

Therefore, I for one, reserve my glove compartment for stuff I would actually use more often compared to the MB Manual.

I use that space for water bottles as well, but maybe i might try placing the manuals there. i have them on the passenger door side panel and its a struggle to reach for if i need to grab it from the driver's seat.

ha...

If i leave my water bottle there for half an hour (when parked in the sun obviously).. the water would biol and the bottle would explode!

I am dead serious!
