Will not stay running

2000 clk 430 125K miles
I have the classic symptoms of a bad crank positioner sensor. The engine will die when idling. I replaced the cps 1 1/2 months ago (AutohausAz) and the car ran great for about a month, but just in the last 2 weeks it's doing the same thing. I replaced the fuel filter yesterday and the plugs were replaced 25k ago. It doesn't idle rough, but if you listen carefully whenever the a/c is on and the compressor cycles on the rpms will drop ever so slightly then recover, thats usually when the engine will cut off.
I was looking at replacing the cps again, but before I do, does anybody have any other suggestions? Thanks

I had the same symptoms...changed CPS..same problems later. It turmed out to be a bad fuel pump. Have someone check the fuel line pressure. Pump is an easy install if it needs one.

Yeah that sounds good, I'll get on AllData and see what the fuel pressure should be at the rail.
