HELP!!!...Need big time advice !!!
Hello !!, I am having problem with my 2000 clk 430 !! The ignition key won't turn!! I know whats the problem is. its the EIS !!I remove the cover below steering wheel and I got to hit the module with a hammer a couple of times to get it to unlock steering wheel,and then I can turn key and start engine,but it only works for a few hours and then I got to hit it( module) again to start it !! Can I repair mines or I need to get a new one or used one !! Do I need to get keys also with the replacement EIS ??Also do I have to bring car to dealership to program or I can go to local indy shop that has star program computer ??Please kindly help me in this matter I would appreciate all you guys/gals advice!!
