nice upgrade! i too have thought about buying a w209 also just because how greatly priced they are but decided i cant leave the w208 behind.. but to be absolutely honest i do like the w209 better than the w208... love how the front end looks, and how the rear end can rock the quad exhaust and diffuser so well. Congrats!!!!!!!
edit: if you dont mind me asking, how much did you sell your w208 for and how much did u swoop up the w209 for? just curious as to how far the pricing differs from CA, to FL. You can PM me if u wanna keep it private or if u'd rather not say thats cool too

Headlamp Lens Restoration Kit
I saw this kit in an ad today that may help with the headlight fog. It's only $10, and has good reviews. Could be an easy fix. If it works well, let us know.

I must say I've always preferred the W208 over the w209 (still do), but that is a good looking car. I do love the missing B-Pillar, and the smoked lights look good with the silver paint. I don't think my preference will be changing anytime soon, but that's a nice lookin' car.

once you have buffed out your lenses put Aristocrat Liquid Glass on them. You will never have to buff them again. I bought a used headlight cleaned it then applied the acrylic 3 years ago and it still looks 100 times better than the original. No fading or cracking. Its only $10+shipping online.

I actually notice the the 2003 CLK comes closer to the $10k ranges. I may consider to go for the W209, but I have no information about it. I know W208 very well more than W209, so I am comfortable with the reliability.
I am curious, have you researched the W209 before buying your car? We can discuss about it in PM, since I am still looking for a CLK AMG.
