Need Stereo Help - 99clk w/Bose
No Teleaid since it's pre2000, from what I can tell searching the forums and the reviews, it wasn't available pre-2000. There's no SOS button in my car. There is the MB car phone kit installed, but it shouldn't be active? I disconnected and reconnected the phone & phone connector in the center console, and it has no effect on the issue below.
Radio says "Muted". After lots of searching, people are stating to remove the "mute wire" going to the back of the radio. Great, should be an easy fix. Pulled out the radio and took a look at Pin 3 on the bottom most wire harness. Oh, there's no wire or pin there. WTF? Now what? I look to the top connector and it only has 3 wires coming in, and the wiring diagram I'm looking at says it should be for power. The Middle connector should be for the speaker outputs, if I'm correct? Help?
Also, now it's asking for a radio code. I have SN if anyone can pull the code for me...
