I know this subject has been discussed ad nauseum and, yes, I have used the Search function however: As my Service due in 15 days counted down day by day to Service Due Now I have followed the instructions in my owner's manual to reset the notification but to no avail. I have a 99/320 and have no steering wheel buttons to scroll through a menu, only th 0 and R buttons. Here's how the manual reads:
1.turn the key to position 2.
2, within 4 seconds press button 0 twice.
3. the present status for days or distance is desplayed(not). within 10 seconds turn the key to position 0.
4. press and hold button 0 while turning key to position 2 again. the present status for days of distance is displayed once more(not). Hold button fo 10 seconds. After approx. 10 secs a signal sounds(not) and the display will show 10000 miles(not).
5.release button 0.
Any suggestions? TIA, David

Turn key to position 3 (KOEO). Press 0 button twice quickly to bring up FSS (wrench) display in cluster. Once wrench is in cluster, press and hold 0 button, switch key off, wait 4-5seconds(continue to hold 0 button), and then switch key to position 3 (KOEO)....and continue to hold button until the display changes to 10,000 miles till service.

I have no idea what position 3 (KOEO) is. Position 3 starts the car. Interestingly enough!!!!! I pressed the 0 button three times, held it down and turned the key to off then turned the key to #2 without letting up on the 0 button and it reset. Sheesh!!!!! Hope I can remember this the next time. Thank you all.
