bad parts deparment?
it seems everytime people order from dealerships in my area they first get E class parts instead of clk parts? anyone else have this problem?

Hmm... I've had an incident where I received an interior piece with the wrong COLOR (TWICE), but not for the wrong car....

i used to think the clk and e class were identical cars. However, when I got a hold of the parts catalog they share a numerous amount of parts with the 202 c class. However the exterior looks more like an e class.
Anybody know why in 98 they choose to base the c class on an older chassis than base it on the 2 year old E class chassis at that time?

Well the E is much bigger than the 202 chassis.
Nowadays, i dont get it they have the c coupe 203 and the 209 clk both based off the 203 chassis i think?
I know the 208 is based purely off the 202 dressed like the more expesive E.
