Suspension Question

MB seems to have two Front Upper Control Arm parts

• Upper Control Arm w/o Sports Suspension
202 330 49 07
202 330 48 07
• Upper Control Arm w/ Sports Suspension
210 330 88 07
210 330 87 07
Does anyone know if the "w/ Sports Suspension" Upper Control Arm will work for my CLK320 considering I have a full H&R Sports Suspension kit?
  • H&R Sports Cup Kit (Springs/Shocks)
  • H&R Sway Bar

Wondering what's the difference between the w202 and the w210 Control Arm, what would make it different to be called sport?

You have the H&R springs, sway bars etc. These parts numbers are for a w202 which is the C sedan and the w210 is an E sedan; the first 3 numbers of a part number are "usually" the model number. I would bet that that the suspension geometry being diff from the w208 they probably wouldn't fit as we fall somewhere in the middle, but thats just a guess. did you check out the other forums to see if anybody over there is using them or has the "sports" suspension?

CLK W208
the part numbers are correct DL, the clk borrows some parts fron the w202 and the w210, many of the part numbers on the clk are w202 parts and they start with the 202. but as for the control arms i really dont know the difference on between the sport and the none sport if any. the only thing that i can think of is that Xenon equipped CLKs came with sensors on the control arms (i think they are on the control arms not sure) that are for the self leveling the Xenons. so some suspension parts might be different due to the bracket that holds those sensors for Xenon self leveling motors but again dont quote me on that because ts just a guess.
