Front Plastic Fender Liners gets shredded all the time!!! :(
It's my 2nd purchase of my FRONT FENDER LINERS - they get shredded all the time. I have 19" AMG1 style RIMS and 30 series tires and still the fender liner manages to get eaten by the tire. I don't hear anything when I make U-Turns
maybe when I'm on the freeway the fender liners gets pushed to the spinning tire
I can't see what's happening ofcourse when the car is running. all I know is that it's my 2nd time to purchase fender liners
Does anyone have the same experience and/or solution to this? TIA!

Mine rubbed really bad and I had 18s on 225 40 18 with 15mm spacer in the front. I put a smaller tire on 215 40 18 and that helped a ton, I know you can not go any smaller, but I was able to see where it rubbed and I cut off the lower half where it was rubbing, Just my 2 cents, you may not want to do that.

I took mine completely out because I'm too low in the front and it would just not stay still. I also have a custom bumper so I can't even put a new one on and I've been fine. I think u can get away with not having it

I would leave the upper half if you can, when I did not have one on my left front for a while, it would send the road debris up into the fender which didnt have the liner, so it went right into the engine bay, no good really. for me at least.

Thanks for the responses.
OGCLK320 - since the lower part have been eaten and shredded, unintentiinally the top part is te only part remaining. I'm still hesitant to expose the lower portion to water and dirt :-(
I can see my HID ballasts and the rear portion of my bumper foglights exposed to water splashes and dirt hence my apprehension not to replace the liners. I'm still hoping for a way or a DIY info experience of someone who has modified their liners. I'm bringing mine back to the body shop tomorrow and have them figure this out. I will post pictures if (I hope) they can think of a fix or mod solution to this. Thanks again Guys!

Thanks 87tpita. Brought the C to the shop this morning and the guy was able to analyze that the wind coming in the bumper intake holes forces a portion of the liners towards the spinning wheel. Its the lower right most part for the right side and lower left most part for the left side. The guy is planning to install / fabricate a bracket that holds those portions still. I'm still mot sure how he'll do it but ill post pictures when he has the brackets installed alreadu. In the meantime I will have to buy my 3rd fender liner set :-(
