CLK W208 Maintenance...
Hi Guys,
I have an old CLK 230 Kompressor (W208) which is a 2000 model and was wondering what I need to do to maintain the car mechanically as its reached high miles now.
About 123000 Miles now.
I've serviced it recently, oil change, brake pads, filter and spark plugs.
Also had a brand new maf sensor put in last year.
Anything else I could change to make my car run smoother? (Due to the high mileage and age of the car).
Also I have a weird clicking sound when I start to move off and drive from the rear?
I'd be greatful if you could give me some ideas
and hopefully this could also benefit other users on this forum too

Bump.
Never mind fixed my clicking noise, it was to do with worn rear brake pads and discs. Replaced discs and rear pads and clicking problem was solved for me!.
Anyone know how to get to the PSE pump? (aka Central Locking pump).

Hi Sam, the pump you are looking for is located in the trunk on the passenger side (US CARS) wheel well you will need to remove the interior lining to get to it. It's stored in a foam rubber enclosure
