Tire Pressure

Hi,
How often should we check the tire pressure ??? I am checking every other two weeks. I am experiencing 2-4 psi losing on each tire each time I checked. I am running 18 inch wheel with 235 front and 265 rear. I usually have 40-42 psi on front wheels and 38-40 psi. Is losing 2-4 psi every other two weeks consider normal ??? Please advise, thank you very much.

Losing 2-4 psi every two weeks doesn't seem normal to me. You should check the affected tires very carefully to make sure there are no subtle cuts or punctures. If worse comes to worse, take your car to a tire service shop and inquire. I usually check tire pressure once a month, as long as I don't abstain from my normal driving style.

i would believe, that under normal circumstances, where there are no punctures, and the wheels are not bent or leaking, the tires should not be losing any air pressure at all.

Also, for 18s, you really don't need to go over 40 psi. 38-40 for the front is more than adequate
