Radar Detector Mounting Techniques
I finally picked up a radar detector after many a speeding ticket, and around ten points (expensive insurance for all you non M*******s). ![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
I hardwired it using a telephone wire from the dome light, but I'd like a more elegant solution than the supplied suction cups to mount the unit. I was looking for a device like this:
http://www.blendmount.com/
but our rearview mirror stalk is like a fat man's neck (practically nonexistent). I was wondering if anyone's found an innovative way to mount the unit in front of, or under the rearview mirror without using the suction cups.
