Sprayed Grill

Hey All

I got the hankering after seeing JoshK's blacked out grill and not being able to find anyone that does black chroming locally. I decided to paint the grill. What do you think?

BTW no comments about the rock chips ok. It is getting painted at the end of the month

Looks good. There's a place in SoCal that does black chroming and I'm going to have them do my grill. I'll post pics and if you can live with driving around grill-less for a week or so, if you like the way it comes out, you might want to ship it down to them :0)

It's gonna cost around $50. A lot cheaper that I imagined. I'll be sure to post pics when it's all done.

Yes please post the address. I actually bidding on a used CLK grill so that I could have that one painted black, this way I don't have to drive around grilless. $50 is very cheap. After shipping it back and forth FedEx it'll come out to about $70 which is still a great price.

Please post pics and info when you're done.

gareeb, you did a fine job, but it needs more shine, I guess it is OK for now until you find the right place.

I agree with Pocholin that it needs more shine. It still looks good, though. Gives the car a nice clean look.

I would also be interested in getting the info to have my grill black-chromed.
