removing power steering reservoir from clk 430
Already did a search and didn't find anything related. Need help with those that have replaced the ring (seal) for the reservoir causing power steering leak. When pulling the reservoir forward (towards the front of the car), there is a hose/connector from the radiator blocking it from being pulled fully forward. Any advise on that?
I tried removing the hose but that was hard to do, may try again. I'm thinking I may have to unbolt the radiator enough to loosen it so that I get the clearance I need.

There is a metal c-clip holding the reservior onto the pump(backside of the reservior, where it feeds into the pump). You need to remove the c-clip, undo the E10 Torx, remove the hose from the reservior to the cooler and replace the seal. Somietimes the reserivor is faulty too (leaks at the seam on the bottom), just FYI.

Taking the screws off that held the radiator did the trick, getting the new reservoir completely inserted was a different issue. It didn't it wan't to go in and took a lot of force to push it in. All seems well now, thanks y'all. Off to the next project!
