Bodyplug missing or drain - interior wheel well?
Was doing a bit of cleaning/inspection and noticed a hole on the interior frame within the front wheel wells at the back part of the frame. Is a body plug supposed to be there or is it to be left open? I don't want to plug it up if it isn't necessary but want to cover it to prevent water from entering. Went though the body plug spec sheets at the dealer and they only list the types and numbers. If anyone could compare there CLK430's I'd appreciate it. Here is a photo of mine and the hole exists at both sides.

Thanks my thinking - but its missing on both sides. Dealership isn't any help, yet. Tried looking on several DIY's for photos of the arch - and there only was one that showed the area it didn't have the plug but the car had high mileage and wasn't in the best condition - so if anyone could take a look at their front wheel areas and report back it would be appreciated.
