Air Conditioner
I think it's time for my air conditioners freon to be recharged. Is there anyway I can check the level myself to know for sure? Can I do this myself or should I take it to a shop to do? If so, can anyone recommend a shop in the orange county area of so. cal or will any do?

So I did the AC Diagnostic that I saw on other posts, if some one can look at the numbers and tell me what it all means, I'd appreciate it.
This was done after driving....
1 - 101
2 - 128, 136, 138 (kept changing)
3 - 99
4 - 101
5 - 93, 94
6 - 214
7 - 12
8 - 122
9 - 0
10 - 5.1
20 - 2.3
21 - 6
22 - 0
23 - 0
24 - 13.9
40 - 8
41 - 5
42 - 200
43 - 14

Fred, do you have the gauges to do the testing? Cal may have some regs about who does AC maintenance. I do a lot of work on my own car but that's not one I would tackle. I would take it to a qualified shop.

dlbehrns, I'm going to call up my indy and see what he says. I was hoping if someone could tell me what those numbers mean cuz I have no idea. But I'll definitely have a qualified shop take care of this.
