Shocks and Axle Replacement Help Plz
I haven't been on the forum in awhile and need some advice.
I need to replace my front shocks. Should I install Bilstein or Koni Sport shocks? I currently have H&R Springs.
Also, I have to replace the rear axle. Any suggestions on buying one?

My opinion: the Billy Sports. Konis are adjustable, but are softer. Coupled with H&R, the Bilsteins will stiffen the ride out a bit more.
Can't help with the rear axle.

99CLK320,
I would agree with the comment on the Bilsteins. I have the Sports along with Vogtland springs and the ride is a bit rough on poor roads. Why do you need to replace an axle?

The new shocks (above) are installed and it rides perfect. Remember I have a 1 1/2" drop with my H & R Springs. Bought these for a good deal! Couldnt be more happier.
FYI- you dont need the attachment that the dealership recommends you buying. The ones that come with the shocks work fine!
