Need help with car shaking , CEL light on

HI...I need urgent help, I own clk320 w208 , few days ago My check engine light came on, car started shaking alot. I took it to my mechanic he checked for code and I got p0306 and p0100m , he changed the coils on 2 cylinders and check for wires and maf sensor everything checked out fine and still the car is shaking and CEL is on.
He wants to do compression test on car now, just wondering if he needs to do it, will it identify the cause of misfire..what other reason could be thr for shaking and misfires.
Any help is appreciated, thx and plz excuse my english

CLK W208
check out the vaccum lines for any cracks or rips also check your EGR valve and make sure it opens and closes, the best way to check the EGR is with the star system.
