Restoration of CLK 230 W208 Convertable
Restoration job is doing well.
What i need help with:
In the convertible compartment at the back there are 2 flat plastic nuts missing, (SEE PICS) does any one know what these are called, I'm sure I found them the other day on the net somewhere (before I knew i needed them :-x) and have of course forgotten where.
Still to do:
Locate replacement switch for mirrors on central consol.
Front spoiler getting fixed this week.
CD changer in boot at repair shop
Paint chips being touched up this week.
Completed items:
Cleaned mass air converter,
Cleaned in cab air filter,
Serviced windshield wiper mechanism,
Convertible now working well (still waiting for springs before fully sorted)
Air con serviced Compressor replaced (Warrantee Item)
Insert and grill for right hand side front bumper found painted and fitted.
Integrated ipod touch into central consol, runs through tape deck.
