W208 Cab - Help with Location of Soft Top Micro Switches & Relays
Hi Guys.
My soft top has stopped working (light blinks fast) and I need to check each of the micro switches and relays.
Can someone please give me the location of each of these please.
I have done all the other checks but so far no luck.
Appreciate the help.

If it is a bad switch, a hook up to a star machine will tell you which one. Most common seem to be the trunk lock and the rear bow lock. The micro switches for those two locks are in the same area of the individual locks.

OK ... just had my soft top serviced and it turned out to be the relay which controls the rear headrests/roll bar. It's what I suspected. My indy guy diagnosed and fixed for $300 which included the part. Knowing the location of the relay, it's a pain to get to (on hydr pump) so I didn't feel like trying myself. Also, I wasn't entirely sure that was the issue...just what I suspected based on all the thread research.
He did tell me he got at it via the soft top cover enclosure vs. going thru the trunk. This may be easier access for those attempting to do it themselves.

Not bad for a $6 relay and at most 30 mins work. I suspect you had a slow blink on the switch so not the same issue as the OP. Bad relay is a very comon problem. Not trying to be a smart a$$ but you could have saved yourself some $$ and time with a search.

Is location of micro switches at the hydraulic pump? Or somewhere else?
Thanks for your help.
