Karl, I have an '00. I love the build quality of the car..just feels so solid. Before this car I had a couple of 5 series bimmers which I also enjoyed as well. After driving a sedan for 10 years, I wanted something sportier, like a 2 door coupe and BMW didn't have anything for me to move up to. Not interested in the 3 series or M3 so I started looking at what Mercedes had which led me to the CLK.
