clk 430 stock wheels

I'm going to look at a clk 430 this weekend as a daily driver in place of my 10mpg suv, and for something a little more sporty. I"m keeping my suv, and this is in addition.

The previous owner has put on some god-awful wheels, and I most definitely want stock ones. However I'm not sure what vehicles had the stock wheels that fit the 430. I hear about staggering, different sizes, etc. I have found a few sets for $600-1000 locally but from different years, so I'm curious what years had the wheel profile of the 2000 clk 430.

Thanks.

to answer your question any rims that came on a clk from 99 to 02 will fit.

I cant tell where you are at but i have the stock 17s from my car that I would like to get out of my storage.

2000 CLK 430
Eastern PA!?!
Finally a clk owner near me? Where abouts?

I'm out side of Philly.

I had my clk hit in the middle of the night. Parked. Shredded a rim. Insurance covered it and replaced one of the stock rims from the MB dealer.
Point is if you want stock rims. MB Dealer can get you new ones. Don't believe the hype that they can't. Now price? I'm sure they aren't cheap.

If you can't find something classy on tire rack.com
Then call your local MB dealer. If they say they can't get em. Contact me and I can put you in touch with someone at a MB dealer that can.

About 30min past king of prussia. I'm not an owner yet, i'm going to look at one this weekend, and have another on my radar.

I'm sure they're $$$$$$ at the dealer, but they're also new. I'm a bit weird when it comes to modifications, i like OEM all the way. I can't really explain it. But I daily drive a 10mpg suv, and I'm agressively looking for something a) faster... b) better on fuel and c) something more fun to drive. Now granted, my suv is fun. At 85mph it feels like I could die at any moment, and kill everyone around me. 9200lb projectile on 202/422 at 85mph, a blowout would ruin my day and everyone's around me.

Plus my suv is getting old, an 04 with 220k miles on it's diesel engine, it's time to garage it and daily drive something with a few less miles.

How does your clk handle our horrific roads?

2000 CLK 430
Dood we are REAL close. I'm on my phone, so it's a pain to type, but
You
Should pm me your town.

Better fuel economy? Ehh depends. I avg 16-19mpg with a long stretch of 422 in my ride.
Handling? I have a 430 cab (convertible) so you get a bit of frame twist etc. which is expected with any convertible.
But cruising? Forget about it. For real. I cruise at 80mph and don't think twice. At that speed someone rolls up looking to race and you stil got the ***** to blow thier doors in. I'm an oem guy myself. Cept for the front bumper. You'll see. Everyone's get beat to hell.
The one you are looking at doesn't have black rims does it?
I am a sane an rational driver but I have had my clk to 130mph and was totally in control... Damn thing
Wanted to keep going.
Pm me!
