Squeky Window

I have a problem with me 99 CLK320. My driver side window squeaks like hell when it gets hot. Sounds like a piece of rubber is expanding and rubbing on the window when it is rolled up or down. Is there a way to easily access the window to see if I can fix it? Thanks,
MT

I use silicone spray for the guide tracks & rubber moldings.

lots
BMW makes a product that is perfect for this. Swing by the Bimmer store and get a tube of GUMMIFLEGE at the Parts Dept. About $ 12.00 and it will last a long time. Lubricates the rubber and prevents chatter, squealing and tearing.

It seems like the squeling is more from inside the door than the weather striping. I would like to get inside and see what I can find, I will probably need a new airbag by the end of this

Squeaky Window

In my experience, cleaning the window with ordinary glass cleaner often eliminates squeaky windows.

I agree

My driver's window squeaks too when it gets hot. When the car is cool (I also have tinted windows) I clean the windows with tint-safe glass cleaner and the squeaking goes away. Keeping it clean is your best bet. Thanks!

I have torn into tons of cars, but am slightly gunshy of the MB. Does removing the door panel involve anything complicated, or is the most exotic thing involved a torx driver? Any details would be appreciated, but I think I can figure out alot of it unless you mention otherwise. Thanks,
MT

EFF YOU JACKIE
Same Issue

My window was squeaking, then I had MB fix it, they adjusted it, and now it doesn't squeak, sounds like it is open all the time. They have really been dissapointing me with their lack of quality repairs lately..
