Hello, I have a CLK CABRIO roof and not put down. The rear window can top, part of the trunk goes up too. At the stage of running-top roof the roof is moved only a short distance and stops. Then she has to help. In giving up the roof is all right. Please help.

 

did you try to push the top up with your hand, if your tension cable is broken then it won't cycle through without a little push

 

When putting it back up, does it slam against the front of the car?

I am a new owner so don't take my word for anything. Mine has trouble going down, up is fine but it slams against the front. I read in another forum that is caused by 1 or 2 bad cables.

I believe they are the Release Cables, both left and right.

I am taking my car in tomorrow to have a look.
