Top pump problem
I am fixing up a water damaged CLK320. The pump on the top motor was jammed so I disassembled and fixed the electric pump. After installation and new fluid the new pump will spin, but nothing happens at the actuators. I disconnected the fluid line at the manifold prior to the solenoid on the rollbars and there is no pressure from the pump even though the pump motor is spinning. I dont believe there is another solenoid on top of the pump for the rollbars, so there should be pressure when the pump is actuated for the rollbars. Is there something that I am missing? Is the pump supposed to be primed or something? I did turn the screw for manual top installation both clockwise and counterclockwise to both stops to check that, however, is it possible that this valve is the problem?? Thanks in advance.
