Well, this answers my question in your headlight thread. You had some fun last week I see.
On topic for this thread I will occasionally have a problem getting the pump handle to pump properly but only at two Arco stations. It's annoying because I'll get it going then go inside to get a coffee or something and come back out and it stopped after just a gallon or two and I'll have to futz with the pump handle to get it to fill up properly. Other Arco's are fine so I was thinking it was just that station's pump handles were not working properly. Now you have me thinking it's not just the pump handles, but maybe a problem with my tank too. I've not had the extreme problem you're describing but at least now I'm aware of it and I'll mention this to my indy the next time I see him. Good to know.

Anyone know if manufacturer Siemens VDO is oem for mercedes, like the way Bosch is for some mercedes part?
Some guy on the e class forum said it was, and he two fuel sending unit look the same as well
