Engine cleaning - need some tips
So I want to do an engine wash on my Mercedes CLK 320.
"wanted to do that many times by the way but was to scarry"
Reason I am old bimmer owner and on that everything is realy proctected including sparks, but on the mercedes I see them sticking out all the wirring ect so I hesitate.
Normaly I just use to cover the alternatoer with a plastic bag, rap it with some tape, spray the engie with some grease remover let it rest little and then pressure rinse it,, of course with good distance never direct..
I wonder on the mb if water hits the sparks, the electronics in them are they protected enough to take direct water?
any tips my engine look like crap to be honest and is embarizing popping the hood,, any help,tips ect
