Your ride is definitely tight. I was never a silver-rim guy but seeing your setup might have made me a believer. What kind of clearance do you get now in the front. I always wondered if that is going to be a problem with those speed bumps that are like 2 feet high and have an 80 degree slope?

Damn, don't ever ride around in the south bay as you will make my stock 320 look like a ford focus.

The car is very nice. Could you tell me where you got your foglights, are they made for that bumper, as I have the same kit.
Lastly what wa sthe price on the fogs.
Thanks

I'm a big Carlsson fan. Saw your post in BNZSport.com and came over here to comment. Good job!

To answer some questions -

SoCalCLK - the Carlsson kit is fiberglass. My original bumper is the plastic that Mercedes bumpers are made of so my front bumper would be a combination of the two. The rear bumper is fiberglass, I didn't use the original bumper in the back.
I'm not going to go to the Carlsson exhaust mainly cause I already have a Remus that nicely fills the cutout, and Carlsson ones are too hard to find.

Samoan_Ridah - I have a lot less clearance in the front cause of the bumper. Speed bumps haven't been a problem so far, but driveways are another story. I've already scraped a couple of times no matter how sideways I go up them. I guess if the driveway looks bad enough, I just won't go up it. :0)

derek m - The holes in the kit are just 4" holes so any 4" foglight will fit. I got mine at pep boys for $50. They're made by Hella. And they have a little extra surprise. Take a look:

haha... that is pretty sweet...
Josh... did you make custom angel eyes for those fog lights?... can't really really tell....

you didn't say anything to me about that.... looks sweet though... next, you should get a xenon kit into those fog lights...

Somebody asked this earlier, but I didn't see an answer...

Who makes your carlsson kit? Is it the fiberworks kit, or Dronellis'?

The work was done at Pro-Am auto body in Burbank. Their number is (818) 842-4177. Talk to Haik (pronounced hike like what you do to a football) and tell him that you were recommended by me. He'll take care of you. :0)

JOSH: finally you car is done. as bruce said its a good combination the OEm bumper and the replica kits togethere. GOOD JOB dude!!ITs all worth it. Btw is the rear diffuser you painted black?is the plastics an fiberglass can be attached together?I heard from my workers at my factory, they said its impossinle to attached together. Its weird huh?can you explain for that josh?

btw guys probably for this times Iam going to go to BMW for a while since I have to wait my mercedes to come. Damn...i will posr my car later on when my big projects is done.

guys just want to clarify that Fiberworks Carlsson Rs kits and Europassion is totally different!!!! last time when i sold all the kits for CLK RS is actaly from fiberworks and the results is the products quality is totally crappy and unimagineable
Ill try to post some pics of my factory buliding bumpers and carbon fiber. hopefully my website will be rady this 2 weeks..

Yeah the read diffuser is painted black. I just like the look of a black diffuser better - it looks more functional to me :0)

To attatch the plastic and fiberglass urethane adhesive and rivets were used and then everything was sanded down and filled to make it look like one piece.
