Just took my car to the dealer today for my malfunctioning driver’s side window.
Every time I “auto up” the window it would go back down about 2 inches after closing.
The tech just put some silicone all around the seals and solved the problem on the spot.
Cheers!

I think the express up is 2000+
the symptom in the first post was actually solved by 're-synchronizing' the windows. Described in the owner's manual.
However: cars produced prior to April 2001 have been known to have the malfunction in express-up mode.
I've had two trips to re-synch (I couldn't get it to work)
and then driver's p/w motor replaced
later the control module (controls both windows, BTW).

I HAVE THE SAME problem, my window goes up and comes down again and sometimes it makes a very squick noise.
I live in NJ and it takes like 2 weeks to bring my car to the dealer,
any solution with out going to the dealer ?
thank you !
