Matte Black W208
I'm going to be doing this within the next two weeks with Plasti Dip and an electric spray gun.
If anyone's interested in a small group buy (10 orders), I can get a hold of some full "kits" for around $315 shipped, which will include a spray gun, 3 gallons of pre-thinned Plasti Dip (more than enough for a W208), a synthetic cloth used for washing the finish (like the Absorber), and masking tape.
Not much of a discount from some of the other retailers on the net, but every penny saved counts!
BTW, I'm not a company, nor am I associated with any company that sells this stuff.
Just a guy looking to get some other people to take the plunge with me![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I plasti dipped my emblems about a year ago, they still look good, but if any small stones hit the paint it peels immediately, plasti dip is made to peel off so im not sure how to get around that when you do the whole car

From all the research I've done, if you do 5 coats of the stuff, it is pretty resistant to chipping.
And the good thing about it is that if you do get a chip, it's easily touched up with a $5 rattle can of the stuff.
I thought about vinyl wrapping, but the cost is a deal breaker.
