CLK350 Cabriolet Bike Carrier
I found a bike carrier for my 2008 CLK350 Cabriolet.
It is the Thule Raceway 9001 2 bike trunk rack.
It is very adjustable, make a large arch to clear the trunk and has soft but strong rubber feet. The metal strap hooks are vinyl coated for great protection of the edges of the trunk.
They recommend that you put at least two coats of good wax on the trunk before use.
I installed the rack, put my bike on and took a test drive. There was no vibration noise and the trunk looked fine after I removed the rack.

CLK Cabriolet 280 Sport 2008
Bike Carrier
I really need a bike carrier for my convertible 2008 CLK280 but on researching the Thule website the Thule Raceway 9001 2 bike trunk rack is not recommended for the CLK. I was wondering if you had has any problems with it? All advice gratefully received.

I have the Thule carrier described above. Used it on several road trips to bike events. Stable and quiet at 80 mph on the highway unlike some of the competition.
