newbie question on clk woodgrain
Hi i am new here i did a Search came up with nothing, i was wondering if anyone could tell me which colors the darker woodgrain comes in the stuff that is more black, is it certain years or certain colors that determine which clk gets it? does anyone have any idea? i am either looking for a Black or Red Clk Coupe 430 or 320 i am open to both.

Black Birds eye maple was only available to CLK430/CLk55 between the years of 2000-2002. Even the 2003 CLK430 Cabriolet comes with regular burlwood... no more black birds eye maple..

2003 CLK Convertible
Picked up my 2003 CLK 430 Cabrio in March after ordering it in December. It has Black Birdseye Maple wood trim standard. For the 430 Cabrio the Burl Walnut (a much lighter wood) was an option. A 430 Cab in the showroom had the Burl but it was more than $1000 extra. Will post pictures as soon as I can find a nice spot. Quartz Blue Metallic with blue top.
