Renntech CLK HELP!!!

Renntech CLK HELP!!!
I just bought a '99 CLK 430. I am more of a porsche person as this is my first Mecerdes. I bought the car from a dealer who did not seem to know much about the car. How do I find out what I really have. There is carbon fiber cover in the engine compartment that says Renntech, the exhaust tips say Renntech as do the rims and shift knob. The car is pretty fast with tons of torque. How do I find out what this thing really is ???

if you want to find out what other mods have been done to the car, you can probably call renntech and give them the VIN number, they may be able to tell you whats been done.
Or, if you just want to know if additional performance mods have been made, get the car dyno tested... also, a MB dealer may be able to tell you if there are any obvious engine mods...
