Navigation system
Does anyone here have navigation with their CLK?
are they after-market or factory one?
did anyone not get the navigation system and then went back to the MB dealer to have it installed on their car again?

I ordered the COMMAND system with my car.(CLK 55) If post delivery pricing is any indication, my sister in law has a SLK and was quoted $2900 to install a voice activated phone. Had she ordered it WITH the car the cost would have been roughly $600, if I recall correctly. The reason for the astronomical difference is the car needs to have the fiber optics routed through the car without the convenience of doing it while being assembled. I hear that installing the factory COMMAND system after the fact would cost between $4-5000 to have it dealer installed.

I would not recommend retrofitting, unless you want to tinker as a hobby and have the know-how.

I am selling the navigation headunit which fit CLK and also E-class for $1500 or give me an offer. Used only one week and I change to pioneer widescreen for watching DVD.
