2002 CLK320 wood trim on passenger door

The wood trim on my passenger door has popped out at the end towards the front. About 1 inch and a half. I have tried pushing it back in but it will not stay. Is there a way of snapping it back in?

Not without taking the door off. I mean you could go the easy fix and just glue it but if you ever crack your trim in the future it could be a pain to get off after the glue.

The door is very easy to take off, you could pop the trim back on in a few minutes. Gotta go through the inside though.

Good luck.
