Hello to all !

I recently purchased my 1st MB & was looking for a little help.
I would like a rear trunk and window lip , can anyone rec. any ? I want high quality parts and I'd like to get them painted to match my car. What is better a fiberglass or plastic trunk lip ? Who has the best deal on them ? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Also I would like to add factory Nav. Is it worth it? Or should I go to a aftermarket unit?

Thanks in advance,

Congrats on your purchase! The CLK is my 3rd MB and has always been the car of my dreams and one I knew one day I would own.

Anyway, I too want and will get a trunk lip. Dont care for the window one. On every other non MB car I have owned they have always been FG or plastic but don't know what MB makes theirs out off.

As for the Nav? If you just want to keep the stock look as well as all your radio controls on your steering wheel then it's oem all the way. I have one, it finds what I want perfectly and has turn by turn voice instructions but aftermarket navs would blow it away. Hope others will give suggestions on where to buy lip so I can learn something as I save up the cash.

Good luck.

welcome and congrats on your new benz

I have had good luck with the chinese ABS version of the lip spoiler and the roof wing .. Only thing is the roof wing in my opinion looks alil off with stock oem tires , seems as though it looks better on cars with aftermarket wheels .

you can look on ebay you will see fiberglass version and ABS plastic versions , the fiberglass will be in the $200 range probably able to be purchased inside the USA , whearas the ABS you can find painted to match your color but will take 2 weeks to a month to come in from overseas .. also mock them up good before peeling the stickers and mounting .. so fun doin this to the rides even though some say it kills the oem look I love it

Thanks for the input.( I always wanted one of these cars & now I know why ! They ride and handle better then most of the Cadillac Cts's I've been in ! )

If anyone knows about a factory nav. Unit For Sale that will plug in without modifying the wire harness Please keep me in mind .
