After battery reset car will not idle or run ! help!
Today I was cleaning out some blocked hoses as my car's done 130K and needed some TLC. I had cleaned the pipe work and nozzles that go into the inlet manifold, I started her up and the car ran as before fine no problems. Then this is when the problem started as I decided to disconnect the battery and perform a full reset ( i.e disconnect 30 secs, then turn key to position 2, sinc the windows and clear the dash lights etc etc). I have done the reset before a couple of times and know that the car needs to now learn on the ECU , but this time I have been trying to get the car to idle and it wont, it runs really rough and I have to keep my foot on the gas other wise it stalls.! Its totally un-drivable !
What I dont get is that the car ran fine before I disconnected the battery for the reset so im pretty sure its nothing i've touched in the engine !?
Any ideas?

99CLK320,
BUMMER! I don't have a clue. I don't understand, if everything was running fine, why did you disconnect the battery?
FWIW: (don't mean to highjack your thread A1)I just had my original battery tested at 12.9 volts and 1000 cold cranking amps. The Interstate battery dude was amazed. I know you change your battery every 4 years Marcus but mine just keeps on ticking and all I do is make sure the water(distilled)is topped off once a year. Not bad for 13 years old, eh.
