Question Will my 430 look bad with non staggard 18s?

I appreciate all the help and advice I have gotten from everyone on this board.

Here is what I want to do, please tell me if this is a bad idea and if it will make my 430 look bad.

I want to buy 4 2 pc 18x8 or 8.5 rims, something like the Carlsson 2/5 or the Lorinser LM5, all the same size and put them on my car. Can I get away with the same sidewall width 40 all around? Will the front tires rub? What is the best tire size for this application?

Do I have to lower my car now? Is this a bad idea because I am not going to keep the staggard look?

I am hearing all kinds of opinions as to the look and functionality.

Thanks. CM

A staggered setup will make your car look more aggressive... and having larger/wider tires in the back will also offer more traction when you really do punch it...

But it is more than ok to put the same size tire on all 4 corners, as long as all 4 rims are the same size/width.

My car is lowered, and under the 18" application, I've fitted 235/40/18 Front, and 265/35/18 Rear with no problems, no contact, no rubbing whatsoever... It also depends a lot on the wheels offsets...

H&R makes wheel spacers which might be what your looking for to space the back out. I think they are called Wheel Trak Spacers. Another option is to get your own custom spacers made by a machine shop, which is the route I went and it's pretty cost effective.

Is there any special reason why you dont want staggered setup?
