Replacing CLK430 Cabriolet Window Regulator
My rear driver's side window of my 2000 CLK430 Cabriolet stopped working (after I heard a pop and some mechanical grinding in the window) and now I need to change the window regulator.
Does anyone have any instructions on how to do it? I was quoted about $300 to do it at a body shop and $775 to do it at the dealership.

I had a similar trouble last week, my rear left window ''disappear'' inside the door after a jam. I found at YouTube a complete removal video searching for w210 window regulator
. The stealership try to sell me the complete regulator without motor 190$ saying my broken plastic clip is not available alone. I found it on the web for 15$ using ''regulator guide jaw'' as keyword. I bought the replacement rivet at the dealer to have the right size. If the regulator is totally 
broken, you can find them at a better price on web, around 60-70$ for OEM. I receive my clip today, will re-install this week end.
