Would you want a DTM widebody on your daily driven CLK?

I have seen a lot of posts here with people asking for real DTM wide body kits. I love the look of the DTM cars, and have thought about getting one custom made. The question I have for the board members is this......would you want to drive a wide body CLK? would you leave your car its stock solid color or make it into a real DTM replica?

Most of the time, body kits and wings are ricey and lame, but if you had a real authentic looking race kit on your CLK, it might be cool as hell. What do you guys think?
(of course you would have to have some performance mods to back this look up).

the real DTM CLK sure is beautiful... but a car with that much flash, i think it would look better with a good paint job... not necessarily all the decals & sponsor stickers, but, just don't stick with a flat colored paint...

Something with a nice transition or maybe even a nice pearl effect...

But I'm not sure if I would drive it everyday, as something that low won't allow much practical driveability, especially if you are in places like NY... but I would definitely drive it as much as possible considering the amount you spent modding it...

I agree with you 100%, Danny. Also, I would need to have a standard Benz interior, not a DTM one if it was to be my daily driver - I need to be comfortable. :0)

I have gotten estimates from $6k-12k for an authentic kit.
All of the links on this page have pics of the real DTM cars.....

This guy says he is making one for the 209, I think it is around $12k
