Hey guys, I remember seeing an Ebay listing for new replacement canvass top for like $300 or $350. However I cannot find by searching Ebay or the post in this forum.
I found one link via the other MB forums but it's for quite a bit more. Any input?

I purchased the top for my 97 SL600 from ebay and it was of good quality. Let me just say "you get what you pay for" If you buy the cheapest top around you will get the cheapest top. Do you plan to install it yourself? If not check with whomever will be doing the install. They can give you a list of manufaturers that they are comfortable installing. Good luck,

^^ Any labor quotes for the top install from Long Island/Boroughs shops? when looking into changing tops for cosmetic purposes I heard $750+... Does that sound at market?

I paid about $1000 to have the top done on my old R129. It was done by Miller place Upholstery. They were recommended by both Mercedes and my insurance company. They did a great job also had so.e leather work done on the drivers seat.
