Radio Code

Does anyone here know how to get the radio code for the stock radio. I disconnected my battery today and now my radio is asking for the code. I do not have the radio code card and didn't even think to ask for it when I purchased the car. I am the second owner. The original owner must have kept the card.

Do you think the MB Customer Service Hotline would be able to look up this info for me. If I called the dealership would they be able to look this information up for me?

Please help. I can't drive around without a radio.

You can take your car to any MB dealer, give them your VIN and they will give you the code.

If your dealer knows you, they may give you the code over the phone.

Thanks. I just emailed the Mercedes dealership I purchased the car from. They are more familiar with me than the local Mercedes dealer is. Hopefully they will get back to me tomorrow, I can't stand another day without the radio.

I feel you on that one. My cell phone has a built in FM tuner (Nokia 7210) and I bought specifically for that reason. I sit in too much traffic not to have a radio. And my phone is my backup just in case.
