2000 clk 430 won't start again!!
So I have a 2000 clk430 that won't start. I drove the car to and from work today and when I left work it started fine I then got home and parked the car and turned it off for about 20min I went back to try and start the car and it will not turn over. I am getting the battery/alternator light when I have the key turned over. But when I 1st put the key in I get no malfunctions. I tryed boosting the car and still nothing. Everything works on the car like lights radio heater etc. it just won't start. I have no idea what to do???? Please help thanks!!!

Couple of questions:
when you said that the car wont turn over, do you mean that you cannot hear the normal 3turns of the starter motor, in other words you go to turn the key but there is no mechanical noise?
You said that when you go to turn the key you get the battery/alternator light (I think this is red in colour) that comes on your dash? yes? And you have tried to jump start the car with another battery but the same?
I had this problem when my brushes wore out on the alternator which I needed to replace and the car was not charging. Check that the battery you are connecting is strong from the other vehicle by leaving that car engine on, and when you get your car started check your alternator is charging your battery by reading the volts stay at around 13-14v even when you load the current by turning on heaters and lights etc as the alternator should compensate.

So when I go to try and start it you can not hear anything. Is there anyway I can post a video on here from my iPhone on what it's doing?Also I am not getting bas light and abs light come on.
