LED Dome/License Plate Lights
Hi All,
I'm looking to replace my dome lights (front, rear and map) with LED lights. I read that the front and rear dome take 3 x 8 LED 44mm Festoon and the MAP light is a 3 LED T10 Wedge light. Is this correct? Also looking for a reputable seller...I have hear autoillumination.com lights go out rather swiftly. Anyone have any experience with this?
Also, is there any tips/tricks to changing out these lights?

One other thing...is it only exterior bulbs on the car that give out warnings when they burn out? or will a burnt out dome light cause a malfunction as well?

99CLK320,
I think they are 39mm. a website should tell u. yes only the exteriors thorw a light out code however, if you replace any extrior with a LED you will have to make sure they are equiped with resistors or they will throw a light out code. if they are canbus or something like that, that claim to not throw a code make sure you verify that before you spend the money on a bulb that says it works but doesn't once you get it in the car.
