I have a CLK 230 1998 model. Battery gone flat due to non use for over one month. Cannot open boot to access battery for a jump start even with the mechanical key. how do I open the boot?

 

use the manual key inside the elec/key

 

You can jump the battery from under the hood. There is a positive terminal under a black swing cap on the right side of the engine bay about 3/4 of the way to the firewall. Hook up positive here...hook up negative to ground. This should give you enough juice to at least pop open the trunk and boost or replace from there. Voila!
