I saw a spoiler on a cl500 the other day... it was a really discreet, like a lip on the trunk of the car...there was not gap b/w the spoiler and the trunk... i really liked it...
i was wondering if anyone knows who makes that type of spoiler, and if its available for a 2001 CLK430.

I tried looking online at different spoilers for the CLK, but I couldn't find it

Sounds like you are talking about the Lorinser decklid spoiler. Here it is on Mach430's car-

Depending on the price I'm in. Hey Danny, do you think it would look good with both the decklid and the rear window spoiler? I'm a big fan of both but not sure how it would look with both on the car.

To be honest i would DEFINITELY be interested in a group buy on decklids. I just left a $200 deposit at Mobile Universe for my roof spoiler. Hes charging me $530 painted and installed. All I would need now is the decklid.

If the price is reasonable, I am in for the roof spoiler and the decklid. Do you just use double tape to put the on? Is it hard to take them off?


edit: any idea on how much the paint cost would be?

OK... I know many of you have showed interest in having a Group Buy for the Lorinser Deck Lid spoiler & the Lorinser Roof Wing Spoiler.

But, in order for the Group Buy to actually take place, we need a confirmed minimum of 10 orders.

Prices are not yet confirmed, but, as any group buy goes, the more that sign up, the cheaper they will be.

The list prices for each are as follows:
Lorinser Rear Decklid Spoiler: $445
Lorinser Roof Wing Spoiler: $459

If we have 10+ orders, here are the potential prices:

is the decklid stuck on or do they have to bolt it on?

i think the spoiler for the roof is stuck on with some sort of adhesive right?

how much do you guys think the paint will run on both the decklid and the roof spoiler?

Both spoilers are attached via strong adhesives. No drilling should be required.

Not too sure about the painting costs... don't want to mislead you, so I'll let someone else take this one... I'm guessing maybe $100-150 for both?
