cl guages in a clk: and rim sizes

cl guages in a clk: and rim sizes
thanks to all who can help.....
i saw somewhere here that i cant find again about cl guages fitting in a clk, it seemed to also have some mention that it was'nt legal here in the us....any ideas
was looking at some wheels that OPERA makes they are op3's
they come in 18 and 19 inches. custom wheels in southern california said that 18, 19, and 20 inchers would fit the clk430 but i could not use anything wider than a 9" in rear and should use 8" in the front. the deep offset in the 10" rims gives it a sweet look, but i was told i could not use the 10" due to some offset problem so i would be stuck with a 3/4" lip in the front and 1" in the rear. this is basicaly what i have now with the AMG's.
